About the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will become safer and more secure for everyone. We are the agency responsible for prisons, probation, remand prisons, and client transport.

Job Description
As an administrator, you will be part of a team with other administrators, where your main responsibility is registration in client administrative systems. You will manage the registration and dispatch of decisions as well as personal investigations based on the probation service's role in the judicial chain. The work also involves archives, case management, mail handling, ordering, economic administration, and other common administrative tasks.
The work involves contact with clients, partners, and the public, where you represent the Swedish Prison and Probation Service with a trustworthy and correct attitude. The tasks require you to ensure that confidentiality is maintained while having knowledge of the principle of public access to official records.

As an administrator with us, you are a service function and are therefore expected to be service-oriented. This means that in your work you show a accommodating attitude and the ability to support colleagues and operations to ensure a smooth and efficient work process.
To thrive and succeed in the role, you have a good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks in a structured way, with a special focus on maintaining legal certainty and quality. You are meticulous and have a good ability to work towards set goals and quality standards. We would like you to have good communication skills and experience working in teams, where you jointly take responsibility for the whole while driving your own processes forward. Flexibility is an important trait, as you are expected to be able to adapt to changed circumstances, be solution-focused, and handle stressful situations in a professional manner.

We are looking for someone who has:
- Upper secondary school education in the form of final grades or a high school diploma, preferably administrative or economic orientation, or alternatively other education combined with relevant experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems equivalent
- Good administrative skills
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
- Good IT skills
It is also meritorious with:
- Experience of administrative work from public administration
- Experience of archiving and case management
- Knowledge of the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act
- Experience of agency work
- Category B driver's license
