Do you want to help develop the digital municipality of the future? We are looking for a Senior Service Delivery Manager who wants to ensure stable, secure, and business-adapted IT services while driving development and improvement in close collaboration with the municipality's operations.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Service Delivery Manager, you play a central role in the municipality's digitalization efforts and are responsible for ensuring that our IT services are delivered with the right quality, security, and business value. The role entails overall responsibility for service delivery, vendor management, and continuous development of the municipality's IT environment.

In this role, you will among other things:

• Ensure that the municipality's IT services are delivered with the right quality, availability, and security
• Monitor and develop service deliveries together with external vendors and internal IT functions
• Work with vendor management, contracts, follow-up, and coordination of IT deliveries
• Drive and coordinate improvement work related to IT services, processes, and user support
• Coordinate and monitor incident, problem, and change management
• Act as a business-oriented support in matters regarding IT services, development needs, and priorities
• Contribute to the development of working methods within IT service management and service administration
• Participate in tenders, requirement setting, and implementation of new IT services and solutions
• Collaborate with the information security function, system architect, and other IT functions to ensure sustainable and secure solutions
• Contribute to structure, documentation, and long-term development of the municipality's digital services
• Develop the use of O365 in close collaboration with our Communications Unit
• Be responsible for the technical infrastructure regarding the municipality's web tools and intranet

About the Workplace

The Municipal Executive Office's mandate is to lead, coordinate, and monitor the municipality's operations. We ensure that the municipality functions efficiently and that residents receive the services they need, while supporting elected officials and administrations.

You will become part of a smaller, centrally located IT organization. During autumn 2026, a transition to the municipality's new IT operations vendor is underway, where you will be a key team player for a successful go-live.

What we are looking for in you

To succeed in the role, you have:

• Relevant higher education or university degree in IT, systems science, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
• Several years of experience working in IT delivery, service management, service management, or a similar senior role
• Experience with vendor management and collaboration with external IT partners
• Experience working both strategically and operationally in development and change work
• Experience coordinating and monitoring IT services in complex business environments
• Experience collaborating between business and IT
• Experience training employees
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and modern IT environments
• Good knowledge of IT Service Management and methods related to, for example, ITIL
• Understanding of information security, continuity, and relevant regulations
• Ability to translate business needs into functional and sustainable IT services
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish

The following is meritorious:

• Experience from the public sector or municipal operations
• Experience with outsourcing and complex vendor environments
• Experience with change management or project management
• Experience working with digitalization and business development
• Experience and knowledge in testing and quality assurance of deliveries
• Certification in ITIL or equivalent framework
• Knowledge of pm3 or another governance model
• Knowledge in cybersecurity and continuity planning
• Knowledge of procurement and contract management in public operations
