Trafikverket has been tasked by the government to plan and build two new railway tracks between Hässleholm and Klostergården in Lund. The Hässleholm-Lund program is part of Trafikverket's business area Major Projects.

About the Role

Trafikverket is looking for a resource consultant as a Project Engineer Stakeholder Relations for the Hässleholm-Lund program, two new tracks. The role belongs to the program's organizational unit Stakeholder Relations, where the work focuses on dialogue, coordination, and contact with relevant stakeholders.

The program has a significant impact on several stakeholders throughout Skåne and works for a close and transparent dialogue with, among others, affected municipalities, Region Skåne, and the County Administrative Board. The Stakeholder Relations unit also includes internal coordination with other business areas within Trafikverket.

The assignment also includes knowledge transfer to employees at Trafikverket regarding the tasks performed by the resource consultant.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Project Engineer Stakeholder Relations, you will, among other things:

• Support project management in stakeholder and external relations issues
• Be responsible for coordination and dialogue with stakeholder groups
• Update the stakeholder map
• Be responsible for updating the external relations activity and schedule plan
• Assist the external relations project manager with planning and conducting physical consultation meetings for the projects
• Prepare and create audience-adapted presentations
• Book meetings with key stakeholders such as municipalities, Region Skåne, and others
• Prepare meetings and create meeting materials, presentations, and other documents adapted to different target groups
• Take minutes at internal and external meetings
• Represent Trafikverket via phone calls and emails from individuals wishing to contact the projects
• In the long term, participate in and lead meetings with the project's stakeholders

Qualifications

We expect you to meet all the mandatory requirements listed below, which should be clearly evident in your CV:

• University education in urban planning, at least 180 credits, or alternatively other education or experience that the client deems equivalent
• At least two years of work experience in a coordinating role in a relevant area, such as communication, project management, or investigation leadership
• Reference assignments confirming the experience must have started within the last five years
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Good knowledge of the Office package

Value-Added Requirements

• Experience from work where you have had contact with several different stakeholder groups relevant to the assignment
• Experience in translating complex contexts into audience-adapted information
• Experience working in the public sector within an area relevant to the assignment

Assignment Information

• Start Date: 2026-09-07, subject to the contract coming into force
• Duration: 2 years from the date the contract comes into force
• Extension Option: +1 year +1 year
• Scope: 80–100%
• Location: Lund
• On-site Presence: Trafikverket's office in Lund, 5 days per week
• Trafikverket provides a computer and workspace at Trafikverket's office in Lund.
