Do you want to be part of Sweden's largest infrastructure project? We are now looking for a Geotechnical Project Manager for the Vagnhärad project on the Ostlänken line.

Ostlänken is a 160 km double-track railway between Södertälje and Linköping. You will work in the Vagnhärad project, which runs from the southern parts of Södertälje municipality through the entire Trosa municipality down to Sillekrog.

The task is to lead a technical area within the contract, including the management and monitoring of design and production, time and cost frameworks, as well as meeting quality, environmental, health and safety requirements. You will work with both design and production. Your responsibilities as Geotechnical Project Manager include, among other things:

• Collaborate with the contractor to develop new, innovative solutions.
• Help the contractor solve the various challenges that may arise during the implementation of these solutions.
• Coordinate, inform, and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve the goals set by the project.
• Contribute to the monitoring of various activities, both economically and regarding time and quality.
• Act as the client's project manager for design and production regarding geotechnical issues.
• Direct the implementation of geotechnics in Vagnhärad against budget, schedule, and content.
• Report to the overall responsible party.
• Ensure that authority permits, building permits, and similar are applied for and obtained.
• Be responsible for technical monitoring, inspections, final reports with relation documents, and good coordination with other technical areas.
• Participate in internal and external meetings.
• Monitor the contractor's procurement of subcontractors.

You will be managed by the Project Manager for Design/Production who is already on site and has overall responsibility for the Vagnhärad project. The workplace is in Södertälje. Travel occurs regularly along the entire route.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a university or college education of at least 180 hp (120 p) as a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical specialization, or a Bachelor of Science in Building Technology, or alternatively has another education and experience that we assess as equivalent.
• Has worked within geotechnics for at least 5 years.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing.
• Has a driver's license for passenger cars.

The following are meritorious:

• Have worked as a project manager or leading site manager.
• Have current knowledge of contract law in one or more of the areas AB/ABT/ABK and AMA.
• Have knowledge in other civil engineering areas, e.g., roads, bridges, railways, etc.
• Have worked in a leading position within road or railway projects.
• Have worked in collaborative contracting (samverkansentreprenad).
• Have worked in turnkey contracts (totalentreprenader).
