Do you want to make a difference for children and young people in need of psychiatric specialist care? Then apply to us at BUP Sollentuna! We are currently looking for two licensed psychologists with CBT training and a strong interest in child and adolescent psychiatry.

BUP Sollentuna is a specialist unit for children and young people aged 0–17 with moderate to severe psychiatric problems. At our clinic, a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychologists, counselors, doctors, nurses, and medical secretaries works together. We work based on BUP Stockholm's process maps for assessment, investigation, and treatment. The largest patient group is children and young people with anxiety and depression. In addition to this core task, the clinic is also specialized in treatment with FBT (Family-Based Treatment) and TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). We are therefore looking for psychologists interested in FBT and TF-CBT who want to work with us.

The clinic is located close to Sollentuna center with several transport options and only a 16-minute commuter train ride from Central Station.

Job Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities are child and adolescent psychiatric work in outpatient care in the form of primary child psychiatric diagnostics and psychological treatment. Neuropsychiatric investigations may also occur.

We are looking for a psychologist with an interest in – and preferably experience of – trauma-related conditions and PTSD, as well as eating disorder issues.

Qualifications

You who apply must be a licensed psychologist with a CBT orientation. It is an advantage if you have experience of child and adolescent psychiatry within specialist care, trauma treatment, or eating disorder care.

BUP Sollentuna is part of BUP Stockholm. BUP Stockholm offers specialized psychiatric care for children and young people from 0 to 17 years within Stockholm County. We are part of the Stockholm County Council Healthcare Area (SLSO), which is a healthcare provider within Region Stockholm. Together, we are approximately 1,200 employees who meet more than 22,000 children, young people, and their families every year.

The position is filled on the condition that it does not need to be taken for internal relocation, according to current regulations.

In patient-related work within the Stockholm County Council Healthcare Area:

• A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
• Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required, in addition to a Swedish professional license. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
