Our 1,800 employees work with close-to-home care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation services, and we provide advice by phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us as we tailor our offerings to the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.
We are looking for nursing assistants for the Near Care Department in Tierp Älvkarleby who want to work weekends!
We offer an exciting and developmental job where you will contribute to safe, patient-centered, and high-quality care. Join us on our journey towards efficient and close-to-home care by 2030!
We are currently looking for nursing assistants who wish to work hourly shifts with us, primarily on weekends.
Your Role
As a nursing assistant with us, you work together with the rest of the team to meet the patient's needs for medical nursing care. In addition to providing the best possible care to our patients, you will have the opportunity to continue developing the operations. We place great emphasis on flexible, theme-based teamwork, which gives you a varied work experience.
We work together to create a cohesive care process where everyone knows their role and can contribute to clarity and security for patients and relatives. We work from a person-centered care perspective, placing great importance on the patient's clear participation in the planning of their care.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with a certificate of the protected professional title "undersköterska" from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen). It is an advantage if you have healthcare experience, knowledge of person-centered care, and education as a specialist nursing assistant in elderly care, palliative care, or rehabilitation.
As a person, you are positive, engaged, unpretentious, and empathetic, with the ability to see the patient's needs and good collaboration skills with other professional competencies. You should be able to contribute to a good work climate and not be unfamiliar with new ways of working. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Our Operations
The Near Care Department is part of the Health Center Tierp-Älvkarleby and is located in Tierp, between Uppsala and Gävle, with good commuting opportunities.
The operation consists of 18 care beds with shorter care times and adapted admission and discharge flows. The department's mission is at the primary care level for ages 17 and up, providing inpatient care that does not require the hospital's specialist resources; we also provide some day care.
We Offer
- An hourly employment with shifts during day/evening/night.
- Immediate start or according to agreement.
With us, you receive benefits that make a difference. Read about the benefits here: Region Uppsala Benefits (https://regionuppsala.se/formaner/).
