Your assignment

The night patrol performs home care services for clients in private homes during night hours, 22:15–07:30. You work in a team with colleagues, and it is extremely important to remember that the clients' wishes and needs drive your work. The night patrol also responds to incoming alarms from Nacka clients at night, and you always work in pairs. This means you must also be a support to your colleague when unforeseen care situations arise. Correct and quick action may be required, so you must be confident in your role and able to maintain calm.

We are a car-based home care service, and all vehicles are equipped with GPS, operating out of Sofiero Senior Center in Björknäs. The client's needs are always the starting point for interventions, and typical tasks include care, supervision, and responding to alarms. Documentation is also an important part of your work.

Requirements for this position:

• At least 18 years of age
• Experience working in home care or elderly care
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Category B driver's license (manual transmission) and extensive driving experience in all road conditions and in the dark
• Easy to handle technical aids

As a summer substitute for the night and alarm patrol, you are employed by Stab Competence Supply, which is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of staffing for care personnel during short-term absences and monthly substitutes. You may be offered the opportunity to work as an hourly substitute before and after your summer substitute period.
