Then you could be our next star! We are looking for a dental nurse who wants to contribute energy, competence, and a warm welcome to our daily work – together we create the best experience for our patients and a workplace we are proud of.

Main duties and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Torslanda, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs. As a dental nurse with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full range of competencies, while the role also requires creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset.

The position includes, among other things:

• Assisting with examinations, screenings, and treatments
• Working with own patients during prophylaxis treatments, introductions, impression taking, oral health counseling, or adaptation treatments
• Work in the sterile room and reception
• Work with own areas of responsibility

We also receive students from the dentistry and dental hygiene programs at the University of Gothenburg, so mentoring/assisting students may also become part of the role.

Currently, a total of 30 employees work here. Our opening hours are Monday-Thursday 07:00-19:00 and Friday 07:00-16:00. We have 12 treatment rooms and are located in newly built premises near Amhults Resecentrum. Competency requirements and profile

• Trained dental nurse with an education accredited by MYH (Swedish Authority for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 in both speech and writing
• Ability to independently manage administration
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and smart manner
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a listening and empathetic way
• Contribute to the development of the business by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your first period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly graduated dental nurses.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed by us, you will be contacted by recruiters from the HR department for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in the suspicion and criminal records registers before employment.
