Then you are welcome to apply for the position of Nurse in the LSS Team at Södertälje Municipality! One of our nurses is moving on to new challenges, and we are now looking for a new colleague.

Your Responsibilities

The LSS Team consists of 6 nurses, 3 occupational therapists, and 2 physiotherapists. Together, we provide the best possible healthcare for our patients residing in LSS special support housing, social psychiatric housing, and day activities. We are responsible for approximately 600 patients, and our coverage area extends across the entire municipality from Ytterenhörna to Vårdinge. We operate from a shared office in Södertälje and travel to our various residential units using vehicles from our fleet. As a nurse in the LSS Team, you will have patient responsibility for approximately 45-50 residential patients, as well as a number of patients in day activities. The work includes standard nursing duties such as medication management, wound dressing, and sample collection. The role involves many contacts with other healthcare providers and places high demands on your ability to collaborate and cooperate across organizational boundaries and with other professions. You will work daytime hours Monday-Friday, with on-call duties on red days and weekends occurring.

Who are you?

You are a licensed nurse with at least 2 years of experience in the profession. We prefer that you have further education in psychiatry, elderly care, or district nursing.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

Merits:

• Experience from LSS, home healthcare, elderly care, or psychiatry.
• Further education as a psychiatric nurse, elderly care nurse, or district nurse.
• Knowledge of low-arousal approaches.
• Knowledge of alternative communication methods (AAC).
• Knowledge of dementia diseases.

• You are driven and efficient, with a good ability to structure and organize your work both independently and in a team.
