RESPONSIBILITIES

You collaborate and communicate with your colleagues and create a pedagogical learning environment that challenges and stimulates children's development and learning, while ensuring that children are offered secure care. The pedagogical activities are based on each child's prerequisites and rely on teaching designed in accordance with the goals of the curriculum. You organize the work from a holistic perspective, where children's development and learning are continuously and systematically followed, documented, and analyzed to ensure quality. You systematically reflect on practical work, individually and together with others, and keep yourself updated by utilizing new research and events in the surrounding world. You are a clear and inspiring leader who handles changed situations and the actions of different people. It is important that you build a good relationship with children, guardians, and colleagues, characterized by mutual respect, a trusting approach, and positive expectations.

In Järfälla, we have a developed strategy for increased quality in Järfälla's preschools. It is divided into four strategic areas:

• Competence in all levels of the preschool (one of the sub-goals is at least one preschool teacher per 15 children)
• Organize the preschool so that conditions exist to promote learning and security
• Awaken children's curiosity and desire to learn
• An active quality work in the preschool

We are looking for you who:

• Are a pedagogical leader for the work team who leads, motivates, creates participation, and conditions for collegial learning
• Listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive way. You collaborate and communicate with your colleagues in the work team regarding the knowledge mission and choose methods to achieve set goals
• Are outgoing and socially active in professional contexts. You contact children and guardians and can build and maintain a secure relationship
• Plan, organize, and prioritize work in an effective way. Set and keep timeframes
• Have a positive attitude towards your work and act in accordance with decisions, operational plans, goals, policies, and guidelines.
• Understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect oneself and others. Aware of how own values influence and direct your way of acting and reacting
• Show understanding for the different prerequisites of women and men/girls and boys in society. Treat everyone equally and act to promote equal treatment regarding resources, opportunities, and accessibility

Requirements:

• Preschool Teacher Degree
• Preschool Teacher License

Merits:

• Previous experience working in preschool
• Training in Före Bornholm
• Training in TAKK

The position requires good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
