At Bräcke Diakoni, we are now looking for a nurse for Ginstgården, a care and support residence in Alingsås. Your Role

As one of two nursing coordinators at Ginstgården, you have a central role in the nursing work and in creating a safe and functional daily life for the residents. You follow the residents' needs over time and shape nursing interventions in close collaboration with colleagues, residents, and relatives. The work is operationally close and involves both leading and developing working methods. With us, we work on a non-profit basis, with the whole person in focus. This means you help create care where every person is seen, where health is valued, and where care is designed with respect for the individual's life situation and daily life.

In your role, you will:

• Participate in nursing responsibility for the residents
• Plan, implement, and follow up on health and medical care interventions
• Mentor and support assistant nurses in their daily work
• Document in the medical record system and ensure good information transfer
• Develop work in Senior Alert, the BPSD register, and the Palliative register

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse and want to contribute to care where residents feel secure and included. At Ginstgården, you meet elderly people with cognitive illness, where both attitude, continuity, and small changes in well-being are of great importance. In the role, you need to be sensitive and able to see what is needed, both in care and in the team. You are confident in your profession, can make independent decisions, and have a natural ability to guide and support your colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Registration as a nurse
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing
• Experience working digitally with documentation and registration

Meritorious:

• Experience in elderly care
• Experience in mentoring in nursing work
• Experience in caring for people with cognitive illness or dementia
• Knowledge in acute medicine, as our residents are often multi-morbid

Bräcke Care and Support Residence Ginstgården

Ginstgården is a care and support residence in Alingsås with 32 places for elderly people with dementia. As a non-profit activity, we start from the person in front of us and cherish what works in daily life, with a health-promoting approach as a foundation. The team includes the operations manager, nurse, coordinator, and assistant nurses who work closely together. This allows us to take advantage of each other's knowledge and create a daily life where every person is seen.
