About the operations

The Procurement and Tendering area conducts operational and strategic purchases and tenders, manages and follows up on concluded contracts. With the entire purchasing process in focus, we work with exciting and varied tasks. We offer a position in a positive and engaging work environment with approximately 26 colleagues. We are now looking for a procurement specialist. The position is for a permanent employment with an entry date of 2026-10-01 or as agreed. The position is currently located in Härnösand with the possibility of remote work. Meetings are held both digitally and physically, and travel may occur in the role.

Responsibilities

The overarching goal of Procurement and Tendering is to create conditions for the region to make good and long-term sustainable business decisions. As a procurement specialist, you will, in close collaboration with experts, drive several tendering projects in parallel. The main tasks consist of acting as a project manager responsible for the planning and execution of tenders for goods and services of varying complexity.

In the role of procurement specialist, you will among other things:

• Provide advice and support to the region's employees in procurement matters
• Collaborate in pre-studies prior to tendering, develop procurement strategies
• Execute tenders by preparing and compiling request for proposals, bid evaluations, and contracts

You are expected to actively participate in the development of common routines and working methods and drive digital development to make our processes more efficient. Together, we aim to contribute to our procurement organization being perceived as an attractive and business-minded partner for both clients and suppliers. In summary, your role is crucial for driving successful purchasing processes in line with the region's strategic goals and ensuring that our resources are used in the best possible way.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Have a post-secondary education in a field relevant to the position, or equivalent knowledge acquired through other experience deemed suitable by the employer
• Have experience of work related to the Public Procurement Act
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is meritorious if you

• Have education in LOU (The Public Procurement Act)
• Have experience within IT
