We are looking for a Specialist in General Practice at Fisksätra Health Centre – Here you can really make a difference!
About Us:
We are a small, family-oriented health centre with 15 employees and approximately 4,000 registered patients. Our medical staff consists of three specialists working a combined total of approximately 250%, plus one resident doctor (ST-läkare). As one of our colleagues is on parental leave, we are looking for a replacement who wishes to work part-time (a few days per week) and who offers great flexibility.
The health centre is operated by Region Stockholm as part of primary care. We offer various forms of medical treatment, rehabilitation, nursing care, and preventive health care. Fisksätra Health Centre is located in the Fisksätra centre building and collaborates closely with Ektorp Health Centre.
Fisksätra is an expanding area where new apartment buildings are being constructed in the centre, and the entire area has undergone significant renovation. It is a lovely area with a diverse population, born both in Sweden and in other parts of the world. At the health centre, we work to build relationships, provide security, ensure continuity, and maintain high patient safety standards, and we know our patients well. We have a close and effective collaboration with the municipality in important areas.
The health centre features a general practice clinic, a local PNA laboratory, and a child health centre, which collaborates closely with the Family Centre located in the same premises. We also collaborate closely with Nacka Rehabilitation Centre, where their rehabilitation staff (including dietitians) visit the health centre for on-site assessments. Ektorp Health Centre is responsible for home care patients in the area.
About the Role:
We offer work that truly makes a difference, where you as a GP specialist are in high demand. There is stability within the staff group, but we need reinforcement due to parental leave.
Management and leadership are based on trust-based leadership and engaged employee participation. We drive improvement and development of the operations together, without pretension but with great heart and joy.
Here you will be offered varied work within the field of general practice. You will take care of patients of all ages through both acute and scheduled clinic visits, both digitally and in person. You will mentor younger colleagues, and there is an opportunity to participate in operational development, such as specialist clinics and/or home care.
About You:
We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with specialist competence in general practice and have the eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. It does not matter if you are a newly qualified specialist or have long experience; what is important to us is that you want to help drive our operations forward.
You have strong empathetic skills and appreciate the daily clinical patient work with its complexity and variety. Providing professional and good treatment is a matter of course. We believe that as a person you have a positive attitude, see solutions, and are flexible. You enjoy working both independently and in a team, and you want to contribute to the development of the operations. Furthermore, you have good collaboration and organizational skills.
Personal suitability is given great weight.
Other Information:
If part-time work is requested, the extent of employment can be discussed. A probationary period may be applied. We review applications continuously and may invite for interviews before the application deadline.
We welcome your application!
The position will be filled provided it does not need to be taken for internal transfer, according to current regulations.
