Your new workplace

Solgården Elderly Care Home is a facility for elderly persons with 49 beds, including both somatic and dementia beds. The home is located in Indal and consists of two floors with three units. Solgården is staffed 24/7. A nurse is on-site during daytime on weekdays, and municipal nurses are available at other times. Those of us who work at Solgården are responsible for ensuring that residents feel safe and receive the help and support they need. Needs vary from simple practical household tasks to advanced and qualified nursing care, as well as various healthcare interventions. At Solgården, we have many areas of responsibility and great opportunities for development and taking responsibility, both individually and as a group, for example within documentation and healthcare tasks.

Service and nursing care are provided based on the individual's personal decisions and delegated healthcare interventions. The goal is to provide nursing and service with a person-centered and ethical approach. The work should be performed professionally, with sensitivity and respect towards the care recipient.

How you contribute in the role of Assistant Nurse (Undersköterska)

• Provide high-quality nursing care and service to care recipients.
• Be responsible for case management, which involves coordinating care around the care recipient.
• Create and follow up on implementation plans in dialogue and participation with the care recipient.
• Perform cleaning, laundry, and cooking.
• Document according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL).
• Conduct risk assessments for both care recipients and the work environment.
• Mentor newly hired staff and students.
• Participate in the development of the operations and develop your own working methods.
• Perform delegated tasks according to HSL.
• Actively take responsibility for one or more representative roles.
• Collaborate with colleagues, managers, and cross-professional teams.

Your skills and experience

You, the applicant, have a certified Assistant Nurse education and experience from the profession or other equivalent human care work. You must be able to express yourself calmly and clearly in communication with users when different situations arise. You also need to be able to document in writing in Swedish and understand and participate in written information. You have the ability to obtain and maintain delegation according to HSL. You have basic IT skills and experience with documenting in operational systems and handling email. A B-driver's license and access to a car are required if you do not live in the immediate area, as bus connections may be lacking at certain times and periods.

Salary: Monthly/Hourly wage. Individual and differentiated salary setting is applied.

Terms: Salary supplements beyond the monthly wage follow the applicable collective agreement. Central collective agreements can be found on the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions' website, www.skr.se
