About the Operations

Lillhagaskolan is Nykvarn Municipality's only municipal lower secondary school (grades 7–9). The school is located in a residential area near Nykvarn center, with direct access to forest and nature.

There are 470 students at the school, divided into three work teams and 20 classes.

We are an experienced staff group with 55 employees.

For students with extensive challenges, we have an adapted teaching context. The 18–24 students placed here have adapted schedules in their own premises on the school grounds.

Two teachers and two teaching assistants are attached to the group and are responsible for the children's entire school day.

The assignment includes, in addition to adapted teaching, social skills training such as recess activities, excursions, meal routines, and similar tasks.

Qualifications

The students linked to the adapted teaching context have great needs for predictability and a relationship-strengthening working method.

The small work team needs to have an open climate and well-functioning collaboration to succeed in the task.

You are easy to collaborate with and show that you are interested in feedback to always find another way for joint development.

Since two teachers are responsible for large parts of the teaching, you need to be a certified teacher and qualified to teach mathematics and Natural Sciences (NO) at the lower secondary level.

We would like you to have education or experience within NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders).
