The Department and Unit's Mission
The HR Department at the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen) manages and develops the agency's employer policy. We do this by helping managers comply with laws and regulations in the area, while creating conditions for the agency's competence supply, leadership, and employee engagement. The HR Department also supports the development of the agency's organization and ensures that the agency pays correct salaries every month.
We are now recruiting an HR Specialist with a focus on HR Analytics for the HR System Support and Payroll unit. The HR Department is undergoing a development journey, and we are looking for you who want to contribute to this change and work in an agency with an important and engaging societal mission.
Job Description
The HR Department at the Swedish Public Employment Service aims to strengthen the ability to use HR data to identify trends, challenges, and create data-driven recommendations for management regarding decisions and choices concerning, for example, strategic competence supply and a sustainable work environment.
We are looking for you who are an HR Specialist with expertise in analysis and are dedicated to transforming data into actionable insights to support the HR organization and business managers in strategic decisions.
Being an HR Specialist with a focus on HR Analytics involves analyzing personnel data and identifying trends, offering valuable insights to optimize recruitment, competence development, performance, and salaries. As an HR Analyst, you will prepare personnel economic analyses based on HR data, financial data, and in relation to business metrics, with the aim of measuring the impact of personnel on the agency's results, optimizing competence supply, and arguing for investments in the work environment. Furthermore, this involves translating complex data into actionable recommendations that can be presented visually and verbally in a pedagogical manner.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
The tasks involve analyzing HR data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations. You take the initiative and work independently to collect and produce data in a structured manner from the HR Department's various system supports as well as other internal and external systems. You analyze and create reports and presentation materials to visualize and communicate results to the agency's management and business managers. You work traceably, systematically, and efficiently.
- Data Collection: Responsible for collecting, extracting, and handling HR data from various sources, such as employment history, salary, sickness absence rates, and other employee data, and improving operations through data-driven insights.
- Analysis and Reporting: Analyzes and produces key performance indicators (KPIs) and creates clear reports to visualize HR data and present it in a pedagogical manner.
- Strategic Support: Assists management and operations in making informed decisions based on data-driven recommendations.
You collaborate with and build relationships with colleagues within HR to streamline and automate the extraction of HR data, contributing your specialist knowledge in HR analytics to the HR Department's shift towards predictive analytics. You collaborate closely with the IT Department regarding the development of HR analytics based on operational needs and the other support departments.

The position is a permanent full-time employment, which may begin with a six-month probationary period. The location is Solna.

Basic Requirements for the Position
- University/college education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits according to the old system) in a relevant field or other equivalent experience that the employer deems comparable.
- Several years of experience working with the analysis of HR data at a comprehensive level within the public sector/agency/large organization.
- Experience in cost-calculating employee-related measures such as sick leave, recruitment, transition, etc.
- Experience in driving change processes related to the development of HR data and HR analytics.
Additional Merits for the Position
- Experience in extracting data from system supports and external platforms.
- Experience working in Excel as well as handling and processing large amounts of data.
- Experience in developing processes and tools.
- Good communicative and pedagogical skills.
