Do you want to help create a meaningful and secure leisure time for our students?

We are now looking for an engaged and creative leisure-time center teacher (fritidslärare) to join our team at Backgårdsskolan in Norrfjärden.

Responsibilities

As a leisure-time center teacher, you work to support students' development through play, creativity, and social interaction. You are an important part of the school community and collaborate closely with teachers and other staff to create a stimulating environment both during and after school hours.

The role involves developing and leading pedagogical work in our leisure-time activities, together with other educators.

The leisure-time center's mission is to complement education in pre-school class and school, where you stimulate the student's development and learning while offering them a meaningful leisure time. You will also support students during lessons and in various activities throughout the school day. Contact and collaboration with guardians is also an important part of the work.

Qualifications

• Teacher education with a focus on leisure-time centers (fritidshem).
• Experience working with school-age children is an advantage.
• Good teamwork skills and a solution-oriented approach to work.
• Creativity, initiative, and a strong commitment to children and young people.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with both internal and external partners, such as guardians.
• We are also interested in candidates with other pedagogical education that can be considered equivalent.

About the position

Permanent position, full-time. Vacation cover position.

Start date according to agreement.
