About the job

You are an important employee within the unit of the Swedish Tax Agency's Technical Service Unit. As a Database Administrator, you will be part of a team working on the further development and management of the Swedish Tax Agency's database services based on Oracle Database Enterprise. In addition to your closest colleagues in the database team, you will collaborate with several other teams in areas such as Red Hat Linux, Windows Server, virtualization, storage, automation, and IT security.

The Swedish Tax Agency's IT department is one of Sweden's largest, with approximately 1,500 employees distributed across six locations. The team works proactively to standardize and automate the management of the large volume of databases, as well as to implement high IT security requirements. Almost all orders for databases and additional services are handled through self-service.

About you

You must also have:

• several years of current work experience with Oracle Database
• several years of current work experience with database platforms, focusing on infrastructure; installation, configuration, lifecycle management, automation, and IT security
• work experience with large Linux/Unix environments
• experience with Oracle RMAN and Data Guard
• experience with automation and programming in SQL, Bash scripts

It is desirable that you have knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Oracle Enterprise Manager, SQL optimization and performance analysis, PL/SQL.

Good to know

The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period.
