The Support Unit works with families and individuals who apply for financial assistance to support their livelihood, so-called social assistance. We provide information about rights and obligations and investigate the right to financial assistance for those seeking it. We work to help individuals with various measures designed so that the individual can manage their own livelihood as soon as possible. The goal is for every person to be able to support themselves and thereby live an independent life. The unit also handles estate matters.

We are now looking for a Social Secretary!

Your Responsibilities

As a Social Secretary within the support unit, you investigate and decide on financial assistance and handle estate matters. You provide information and advice to the public and in individual cases regarding the right to support and other assistance. The role involves recurring contact with both individuals and internal and external actors.

About You

We are looking for someone with a genuine commitment to people and an interest in how society functions on a larger scale. To be able to work with a holistic perspective in your cases, it is important that you have good knowledge of the roles and regulations of other authorities and actors. You have an easy time creating and maintaining contacts, and in your work approach, you are solution-oriented, receptive, careful, and responsible. You express yourself fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing, work independently but are also a team player who sees it as natural to step in and support colleagues and operations when needed. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements

• University degree in Social Work (Social Work)

Merits

• Experience in processing cases within social assistance
• Authority exercise within social services
