We are now looking for a scheduler with experience in scheduling for the Department of Functional Support, South West area. Within the South West city district, six schedulers work with schedule planning and efficient resource utilization for various types of operations. The position of scheduler involves independent work while simultaneously becoming an important part of our collaborative team where we support each other.

We primarily work with Housing with Special Service and Day Activity Centers. In the future, more types of operations may be added. Currently, we handle schedule planning for a total of 72 units. We are located at Lergöksgatan 2.

Your main tasks will be to finalize schedules in Time Care Planning based on the scheduling process, ensuring that the operation's staffing requirements are met. The starting point of the work is ensuring compliance with current laws and agreements, as well as maintaining staff influence through dialogue with the unit manager for each respective unit. The work requires us to be principled regarding milestones and cut-off dates, while also having an understanding of the many moving parts and constantly changing needs of the operations, which requires us to be flexible in our approach within the given frameworks and able to respond quickly to changes. We also work with absence, extra time, and shifted working hours in the finalized schedule.

The role also involves participating in follow-ups and continuously working to improve methods and develop the organization to maintain high quality in the scheduling work. We would appreciate it if you have an understanding of the needs of people with disabilities and insight into how the assignments to employees affect schedule planning.

About you

We are looking for you who have completed upper secondary education and have good computer skills. You have experience in administrative work, with a special focus on scheduling.

Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement; you need to have passed Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1. If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1, you may be offered to take a language test through the test provider Educateit.

It is a requirement that you have experience with the schedule planning tool Time Care Planning.

It is also meritorious if you have knowledge of relevant laws and agreements related to scheduling, as well as previous experience with scheduling in 24/7 operations. Having upper secondary or post-secondary education with an administrative focus is seen as an advantage. Experience of direct work with clients within the disability sector is also meritorious.
