About the role

On behalf of a client in Stockholm, Wrknest is now looking for a Technical Lead for ducting/cable management who wants to take a key role in socially vital infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for you who have extensive experience in design within tramways, metro systems, and railways, and who thrive in a position where technology, coordination, and leadership go hand in hand.

As the Technical Lead, you will become a central part of the project operations, responsible for driving and ensuring the quality of ducting solutions within complex projects. You will work closely with other technical disciplines and play a vital role in creating functional solutions throughout the entire design process. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to contribute your experience by supporting and developing junior designers in the team.

Your future responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for leading and driving the design of ducting/cable management in multidisciplinary infrastructure projects. You will work both operationally and strategically with technical solutions, ensuring quality and progress throughout the entire project phase.

Typical tasks include:

• Preparing tender documents and construction drawings
• Creating quantity surveys
• Coordinating ducting/cable management with adjacent technical areas such as tracks, electrical, signaling, and telecommunications
• Ensuring that solutions comply with current regulations and AMA Anläggning standards
• Leading, supporting, and quality-assuring the work of junior designers
• Contributing technical expertise through various stages of the design process

We are looking for someone who has

• Documented multi-year experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Designer within ducting/cable management
• Experience in design within tramways, metro systems, and railways
• Very good proficiency in MicroStation and/or Civil3D
• Deep understanding of relevant regulations and AMA Anläggning standards
