Tretjärnsskolan is located in the Lövgärdet school area in Angered. Here, students attend from preschool class to year 3. The school is situated near Vättlefjäll and Surtesjön, offering excellent opportunities for outdoor teaching, wonderful nature experiences, play, and movement every day, all year round.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for you who want to teach textile crafts at Tretjärnsskolan.

The position is a permanent employment with a 20% workload, spanning 2–4 days. You will work in teams with other primary school teachers, leisure-time pedagogues, and class resources. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that you are responsible while also being skilled at collaboration.

As a teacher, you initiate subject development and develop the didactic aspects of teaching together with your colleagues. We place great emphasis on students having good basic skills and being able to master new technology. We also actively work to ensure that students have trust in other people and confidence in their own ability to influence their lives and the society we live in.

You plan, implement, and evaluate your work together with the team. Your teaching is based on scientific grounds. You follow research relevant to the school and contribute to our schools working to develop quality in teaching. You recognize that your teaching is adaptable and always based on the students' needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher for teaching textile crafts in preschool to year 3 (F-3). You are well acquainted with the curriculum and other regulatory documents for the school. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of teaching students with Swedish as a second language.

Personal Qualifications

You have a strong interest and commitment to developing teaching and the ability to improve students' academic results. You work with change, new ideas, and methods. You have a well-developed communicative ability, which means you create good interactions with both individuals and groups. You readily take initiative and find it easy to quickly change your perspective and approach based on current circumstances.

It is important that you see good relationships with students and guardians as a natural part of your work, and that you can create engaging learning environments based on clear and low-affective leadership.

To ensure that you, as a new graduate, get the best possible start in your profession, you will participate in the Primary School Administration's Teacher Academy introduction program for new teachers. The introduction gives you, as a new graduate, a network with other new graduates and targeted activities during your first year as a teacher.
