Description

Näsetskolan is located in a coastal environment with great opportunities for rich nature experiences. Together with Åkeredsskolan, the school forms a school area that works according to the motto: Safety – Collaboration – Knowledge.

Approximately 300 students attend the school, distributed across 12 classes. There is one preschool class, two classes per grade in grades 1–4, and three classes in grade 5. The after-school center (fritidshem) is divided into four departments that are merged for parts of the day. One department for the preschool class, two for grades 1–3, and one after-school club for grades 4–5. Grade 6 students at Åkeredsskolan are Näsetskolan's students, but will belong to Åkeredsskolan's school unit organization during the school year.

We are now looking for you who are a certified teacher in after-school centers (fritidshem) with a focus on physical education and health.

Responsibilities

As a teacher in the after-school center at Näsetskolan, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching in the after-school center. You collaborate with your colleagues to promote the students' learning and development. In the after-school center, you work with students from both lower and middle school levels.

During the school day, you teach the subject of physical education and health. The work is directed towards middle school classes and corresponds to approximately 35–40% of the assignment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated and certified as a teacher in after-school centers with the eligibility to teach physical education and health.

To succeed in the role, you need to have a very good ability to build positive relationships with students. You are a team player who can collaborate with staff, students, and guardians. In your work, you are creative and dare to try new paths to meet the students' needs and interests.
