We are a school for grades F-9 (preschool class to grade 9) with approximately 700 students and 100 employees. Job Responsibilities

Toleredsskolan is now looking for a lower secondary school teacher with broad qualifications, primarily for teaching Swedish, Swedish as a Second Language, and Social Studies (SO) in two classes in grade 6. Together with your work team, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in accordance with the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum (Lgr22) and other governing documents. You are also responsible for collaborating with colleagues, students, and guardians to create a safe and developmental environment for the students.

Cooperative learning is a natural part of your teaching. Through cooperative learning, students learn together through structured collaboration where everyone participates and takes responsibility for their own and the group's learning. This approach strengthens both knowledge development and social skills through dialogue, collaboration, and joint problem-solving. You feel secure in cooperative learning.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach Social Studies, Swedish, and Swedish as a Second Language in grades 4–6. It is an advantage if you have qualifications in additional subjects.

You are also well acquainted with the school's governing documents and have the ability to lead and vary teaching to create a desire for learning.

We see that you are solution-oriented, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. You take responsibility for your and the joint tasks, are keen on finishing what you have started, and ensure that the work is done correctly. You easily adapt your working style and perspective based on changed conditions and new information.

You gain energy from contributing to others' learning and you create conditions for learning to take place. You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement. By being interested and creating understanding for others, you work for a respectful work climate.

Through structures that create participation and engagement, you contribute to all students developing and succeeding.
