Job Responsibilities

As a general special educator with us, you will become an important part of the student health team and in the development of our student health work. Together with the other special educator, you are responsible for developing the special pedagogical competence at all units.

The tasks are primarily health-promoting and preventive. This means special pedagogical guidance/consultation where the purpose is to promote increased awareness of attitudes and treatment among educators.

The special pedagogical competence is also utilized in collaboration with principals and the rest of the student health team. As a special educator, you apply different methods to support educators in their work for increased goal achievement. You can work with analyses of difficulties and challenges at the organization, group, and individual levels. Contact with guardians occurs.

You guide special teachers and special educators as well as lead teachers in the work with mapping, assessments, and action plans. Together with the student health team, you work to support educators in the work with adaptations.

You will collaborate both internally and externally. You will work together with supportive, experienced, and competent colleagues in cross-professional teams.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a special educator and/or special teacher. You have a secure pedagogical compass and are familiar with the school's steering documents. You can work both independently and together in a team. We see that you are proactive and creative and can plan and conduct guidance, networking, and workshops.

You have the ability to see the whole in the systematic quality work with school leadership and management and can highlight needs for improvements in the operations that positively affect students' health, development, and goal achievement.

Requirements for employment:

• Category B driver's license
• Trained special educator/Special teacher
• Ability to work independently
• Good cooperation skills

Meritorious:

• Knowledge of Prorenata and Vklass
