In this role, you combine coordination, development, and practical implementation. You work closely with colleagues, operations, and external actors to spread knowledge, support group leaders, and develop parental support within the municipality.
You will become part of the Children, Youth and Family operation within the Family and Work business area, where we offer early and preventive interventions that strengthen children, young people, and families.
Your Assignment
As the coordinator for parental support, you are responsible for coordinating, developing, and monitoring the municipality's parental support at universal, selective, and indicated levels. The assignment aims to strengthen the quality, accessibility, and coordination of the municipality's parental support.
In the role, you will among other things:
- Coordinate and develop the municipality's parental support
- Plan, organize, and conduct parent groups

- Support operations in the implementation of parental support initiatives
- Collaborate with internal and external actors
- Plan and coordinate parent lectures
- Monitor the external environment and contribute to translating new knowledge and national guidelines into practice
- Contribute to the development of accessible and inclusive working methods, including digital solutions
A central part of the assignment is the responsibility for ABC 3–12 (All Children in Focus), where you train and supervise group leaders, ensure quality and method fidelity, and contribute to developing and spreading the working method within the municipality.
The position is a permanent employment at 80%, and you will be based at our office in Sickla Köpkvarter. You will work closely with colleagues within Children, Youth and Family, including family therapists, youth therapists, youth coordinators, counselors, and parent advisors. The role also involves close collaboration with schools, preschools, and other actors working with or offering parental support.
Is this you?
We are looking for someone who thrives in a role that combines coordination, development, and implementation. You are self-motivated, proactive, and have the ability to create structure, drive the work forward, and turn ideas into practice.
You have excellent collaboration skills and find it easy to build trusting relationships and cooperate with different professions, operations, and actors. You are communicative and have the ability to engage, motivate, and support others in joint development efforts.
Furthermore, you are a quality-conscious person who works methodically, while also being curious about new working methods and driven by developing operations and creating improvements. To succeed in the role, you also need to be flexible and solution-oriented.
Personal suitability is given great weight.
Your Experience
