About Us

Närhälsan Munkedal Health Centre is a well-functioning and appreciated workplace with approximately 8,500 registered patients. At the health centre, five district doctors, five training doctors, nurses, district nurses, assistant nurses, a rehabilitation coordinator, a care coordinator, medical secretaries, a foot care specialist, and a psychologist work together. We also have a specialized unit for young people with mental health issues (UPH), as well as close collaboration with rehabilitation clinics, youth clinics, and family centres.

About the Role

A central part of the role is supervising ST (specialist training) and AT (internship) doctors as well as medical students. You actively contribute to their development and help shape tomorrow's healthcare personnel, which we see as an important and prioritized part of our mission.

Your duties also include a broad range of general medical work with patients of all ages and life situations. You work with both traditional clinic visits and digital healthcare meetings in primary care. You will become part of a collegial team where you together have the opportunity to develop the operations. We value an stimulating learning environment with open doors and a welcoming climate, where we achieve success together. We offer varied work with good development opportunities, including continuous further education equivalent to ten days per year.

About You

You are a licensed physician with specialist training in general medicine and are authorized to work within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, at level C1 or higher according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement for the position.

We are looking for someone who can work independently but still wants to participate in the development of operations. In your work, you meet many different patients, so it is important that you are sensitive and have a good manner of dealing with people. You thrive in teamwork, and for you, it is a matter of course to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work.
