About the Workplace
Do you want to be part of the development of Uddevalla Municipality's work? Then apply for the position of structured and service-oriented case handler to the Staff Unit of the Urban Planning Administration – the unit where everything happens!
You will be part of the unit's administrative support team, a dedicated team where support for the rest of the administration, collaboration, development, and good customer service are in focus.
Responsibilities
The tasks are varied, but will include among other things:
- Register incoming documents
- Administer and follow cases through the entire process
- Dispatch decisions and other documents
- Ensure correct diary registration and archiving
- Coordination of the administration's steering documents
- Personnel reporting
- Economic administration
- Support and/or participate in process development and improvement work
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for you who have competence and/or experience working within public administration, preferably with a focus on urban planning.
You are accustomed to independently prioritizing and driving your work forward.
You are structured, meticulous, and confident in handling several parallel tasks simultaneously.
You have a high awareness of service and quality, and you actively contribute to a good working climate in collaboration with colleagues.
To thrive with us, you need to appreciate work with many contact surfaces, recurring processes, and clear deadlines.
Since the role involves close collaboration with both colleagues, managers, and elected officials, you need to be communicative, non-hierarchical, and good at building good relationships. You are also comfortable speaking in front of groups and can act professionally in public contexts.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a university degree in political science, public administration, social sciences, law, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
You have at least three years of experience in qualified case handling and improvement work within municipal operations and have worked in two or more of the following areas:
- Case administration
- Economic administration
- Personnel administration
- Process development
You have good digital competence, are a proficient user of various business systems, and have good knowledge and experience of digital development. Furthermore, you express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
Merits
It is a merit if you have:
- Experience in improvement and development work
- Knowledge of the Local Government Act as well as public access and secrecy legislation
- Experience working in case management systems
- Experience in administrative coordination
- Experience in process development
- Experience working in a politically governed organization
