The Education Administration is responsible for preschools, after-school centers, primary schools, upper secondary schools, as well as adapted primary and upper secondary schools. The Role and Responsibilities

We are now looking for a teacher to join our excellent team, "Havet" (The Ocean)! You will be part of work group 4-6 and will serve as a mentor for year group 4 together with a colleague. You will teach in your own class but may also teach in other classes on the lower secondary level.

We are looking for someone who is confident and clear in their leadership. You should have a good ability to build positive relationships with students and parents. You should want to collaborate closely with colleagues in the work group.

You plan and conduct teaching in Science and Mathematics, English, Swedish, and Mathematics. You do this together with our other teachers on the lower secondary level.

What We Offer You

Trädgårdsstadsskolan is a preschool to year 9 school located in Tullinge, Botkyrka Municipality. The school was built in 2002 and has approximately 660 students from preschool to year 9. The school has two parallel classes up to and including year 5, and thereafter is a three-parallel school up to and including year 9. We have fresh, modern, and bright facilities. The school is built in modules with workrooms in close proximity to classrooms and recreation areas, which provides good conditions for building strong relationships with students.

Our school has been selected as a training school, meaning we have close cooperation with Stockholm University and the practice-based education for teacher students. We are a school with driven and development-oriented colleagues who keep up with new research and findings. We are always working to develop and improve our operations, and we achieve good results over time.

We have had a "one student, one computer" policy since 2011, meaning all students have access to their own computer.

Who You Are

Requirements: You are a qualified teacher with a valid license for the lower secondary level.

You are an engaged mentor who sees every student. Your strength, in addition to teaching quality, is your skill in building relationships.

You have previous experience teaching at the lower secondary level.

Merits: It is an advantage if you are qualified in Swedish as a Second Language.

It is an advantage if you have qualifications in multiple subjects.

It is also an advantage if you are familiar with various digital systems such as Schoolsoft, Vklass, or Unikum.

We are looking for someone who is stable and confident in the daily work in the work group. As a mentor, you create and cherish good relationships with both students and colleagues, as well as guardians. You have good collaboration skills and work best in a team.
