Job Responsibilities

At our facility, all professional categories are equally important, regardless of the time of day or day of the week you work. You are crucial to us in order to provide specialized care within neurology. It is my responsibility as a manager to give you good opportunities for development, and together we create the best conditions for high patient safety. On the ward, there are many nursing assistants who have been employed for many years and will help you feel secure in your new workplace.

In your role as a nursing assistant, you will focus on acute care and good nursing.

About the Workplace

The diagnoses on Ward 4C are primarily stroke, TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack), and neurological diseases. All wards of the medical clinic share a common responsibility for caring for general internal medicine patients.

Our team consists of various professional categories: doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, dietitians, social workers, psychologists, medical secretaries, and staff from care-related services – everyone is equally important. Starting this autumn, our team will also include a ward pharmacist.

The ward has 21 care beds distributed across 3 groups. The length of stay for patients varies, but averages 3.5 days. Ward 4C is responsible for acute care, and any rehabilitation takes place at home or in Halmstad.

The workplace is constantly evolving, and we are always curious about how working methods can be developed and improved.

Scheduling is done in the Tessa system, where we take joint responsibility for covering the operational needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with a focus on emergency care or similar education. We would prefer that you have at least 3 years of experience in nursing care; prior experience in inpatient care, as well as blood sampling and documentation, is an advantage.

As a person, you are engaged, motivated, and have good collaboration skills. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
