AMA Dental is looking for a dentist for mobile dental care

AMA Dental is seeking a competent, confident, and dedicated dentist for our mobile dental care operations in Stockholm.

Our mobile dental care targets patients who have difficulty traveling to a standard dental clinic, such as elderly patients, residents in special housing, and patients requiring care in their home environment. This role is ideal for you if you are clinically skilled, responsible, and want to make a real difference for patients who often have significant care needs.

As a dentist within mobile dental care, you will become an integral part of a professional team where quality, safety, and respect for the patient are at the center.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

• Perform examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning for patients in nursing homes and home environments.
• Carry out preventive treatments, fillings, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Assess the patient's dental care needs and plan appropriate follow-up treatment.
• Work with elderly and frail patients, where a respectful demeanor, calmness, and clear communication are crucial.
• Be responsible for accurate record-keeping, documentation, and follow-up according to current requirements.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, care staff, relatives, and other colleagues within AMA Dental.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed dentist with Swedish dental licensure.
• Has strong clinical competence and is confident working independently.
• Has excellent ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
• Has a valid B-class driver's license.
• Is meticulous, professional, and responsible.
• Has a calm and empathetic demeanor, especially when interacting with elderly and care-dependent patients.
• Can adapt to different work environments and patient needs.
• Enjoys collaborating with various professional groups.

Merits

• Experience in mobile dental care.
• Experience treating elderly patients or patients with special care needs.
• Experience with prosthetics and surgical treatments.
• Good understanding of documentation requirements, care planning, and collaboration with care staff.
