Roslagens Kulturskola is looking for an administrator who wants to help develop both the operations and cultural life in Norrtälje Municipality.

Roslagens Kulturskola offers voluntary instruction in traditional instrumental and ensemble music, group rock/pop music, folk music, music production, dance, art, and theater.

You will also serve as administrative support to the Director, Head of Operations, and Principal, who lead and distribute the administrative workload. The role involves close collaboration with other employees, where you contribute to supporting the daily operations.

Working hours are primarily in the afternoon and evening, as a large part of the cultural school's activities take place after school hours.

The Assignment

In your daily work, you will handle phone calls, emails, and visitors. The tasks vary and consist of both routine administrative duties and more complex assignments, ensuring that no two days are alike.

As an administrator, you need to be flexible and able to adapt quickly when the organization's needs change. The daily life at the cultural school is varied, meaning tasks and priorities may shift from day to day.

During certain periods, the workload is higher than usual due to various deadlines. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy varied work and can maintain structure and focus even when the pace is fast.

What You Need to Bring

Requirements

• Upper secondary education deemed adequate by the employer and/or individual courses at university/college level
• 5 years of work experience in administrative work at a front desk/reception
• 5 years of work experience in a service-oriented profession
• Good language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills and experience with administrative systems. Experience with StudyAlong, Easit, Recruto, as well as good knowledge of Teams and Microsoft 365, is meritorious
• Knowledge of or interest in the cultural school's areas of operation, such as music, dance, theater, or art
• Valid driver's license and driving experience

The department consists of 27 employees in total, with the majority working part-time. Our employees particularly appreciate the solid ensemble activities, such as brass bands, string orchestras, various session groups, and the numerous competence development projects for staff.

Employment Type, Scope, and Start Date

• Employment Type: Fixed-term contract (Vacancy)
• Scope: Part-time, 50%
• Start Date: August 3, 2026 - June 15, 2027

The starting salary for this role is normally between 26,000 - 32,000 SEK, depending on experience and qualifications.

Selection work and interviews take place continuously during the advertisement period.
