As an experienced butcher, you will become a central part of our production, focusing on pork and lamb, and occasionally beef. Your workday will be varied, including slaughter preparations, butchery, packaging, and some meat processing. You will work in a team with experienced colleagues, following our routines for food safety, hygiene, and working environment.
ResponsibilitiesButchery: Butcher pork and lamb according to company standards and customer requirements; beef as needed.
Preparation and inspection: Prepare raw materials for further processing, check quality, and sort out non-conforming products.
Packaging and labeling: Pack, label, and document products for traceability and delivery.
Hygiene and HACCP: Follow hygiene routines, clean workstations, participate in daily cleaning, and register deviations.
Collaboration: Communicate with production colleagues, follow supervisors' instructions, and contribute to an efficient production flow.
Machine and tool work: Use and maintain simple machines and hand tools used in butchery and packaging.
We are looking for you who have documented experience in butchery, preferably specifically with pork and lamb. You are used to a high pace, have good manual skills, and a strong focus on hygiene and quality. We welcome applicants with different backgrounds and prioritize an inclusive work environment.
We would like you to have:
Experience in butchering pork and lamb; experience with beef is an advantage.
Knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP, and traceability requirements.
Experience in working with knives and other butchery tools in a safe manner.
Ability to work efficiently in a team and take initiative when needed.
Detail-oriented and quality-conscious.
Responsible with a strong focus on safety and hygiene.
Flexible and adaptable to production variations.
Good teamwork skills and clear communicator.
Stress-resistant and used to physical work.
A secure workplace with collective agreements and insurance.
Variety in tasks and opportunities to develop your competence in meat processing.
Internal training in hygiene, food safety, and machine handling.

Position: Full-time
Working hours: Daytime, Mon-Thu, 06:00-16:00
