Your Workplace

The Primary Care Dietitian Clinic is part of Health and Rehabilitation in Region Värmland. We primarily receive referrals from the county's health centers and are physically located at some of these. Our clinic consists of 11 dietitians, two healthcare administrators, and our unit manager. In addition to the close collaboration and colleagues at the dietitian clinic, you will also have a clear place in the work group at Kristinehamn Health Center, where you have your physical workplace.

In addition to working with the patient groups of the health centers, we have several exciting collaborations with other units within the region. Together with the maternity care, all dietitians work with the LEVA method. Individual dietitians work with meal projects within Forensic Psychiatry and on our close care wards (NÄVA) in Säffle and Kristinehamn. Having different branches based on our basic mission is encouraged and creates opportunities for career development, enriches our workplace with new perspectives, and provides further variation in the work.

Through our development groups, which are divided by diagnosis and subject, you as an employee have great influence on how we will meet patients' needs in the future through accessibility and wise clinical choices. Your Responsibilities

As a dietitian at the Primary Care Dietitian Clinic, you work with individual nutritional treatment according to the Nutritional Care Process (NCP) with adults aged 18 and over. Common diagnoses we encounter are malnutrition, type 2 diabetes, IBS, and obesity. We also offer the LEVA method, a weight loss method for postpartum women. The treatment has a specific setup where physical visits are mixed with close digital contact in the Support and Treatment Platform.

You have the freedom to structure your own schedule in the time book for your workday and vary between physical visits, digital visits, and group visits. We prioritize the physical meeting with both patients and other colleagues, but there is an opportunity for 20 percent remote work.

You are a registered dietitian with a strong commitment to helping people live healthier lives through nutritional treatment.

You focus on science and evidence and are positive about opportunities for new collaborations and working methods. You have the ability to see the big picture, consider the broader perspective, and look to the best interest of the entire operation in actions and decisions. As a person, you are stable and confident in yourself, while simultaneously structuring and organizing your work in an efficient manner. You build good relationships and can work independently when needed.
