Do you want to help launch a new staffing team within elderly care in Farsta? We are now looking for assistant nurses who want to work to contribute to safe and high-quality care in our operations.

The staffing team is based at Ängsö Care and Residential Home and works across four facilities during short-term absences: Ängsö, Edö, Postiljonen, and a day center for people with dementia. The facilities focus on somatic care, dementia care, short-term care, and day activities. The staffing team consists of approximately 12 assistant nurses, one staffing assistant, and a manager. The team has an important task in ensuring continuity and security when regular staff is absent.

Therefore, we offer a structured introduction that helps you quickly get into your new assignment, learn about our values, and become part of our staffing team. During the introduction, you will go through your role, expectations, and how you can contribute to our operations. We guide you through routines, systems, and work tools so that you feel secure from day one.

Your role

As an assistant nurse in the staffing team, you work in several care and residential homes as well as in day activities based on the needs of the facilities. The role involves covering short-term absences and quickly getting used to new workplaces and routines. To thrive in the role, you need to be flexible as you work in different facilities and may need to change workplace with short notice.

You work full-time (37.5 hours/week) and the work is scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends. Since you are part of a staffing team, your schedule varies.

Working hours:

Daytime: 07:00–15:30/16:00

Evening: 13:00–21:00

You contribute together with your colleagues to make the residents' daily life safe, meaningful, and dignified. With a professional and respectful approach, you ensure good care based on the individual's needs and conditions. You are an important part of creating a functioning daily life where quality, participation, and security are at the center.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who are:

  • a trained assistant nurse with a protected professional title
  • at least 3 years of experience working in elderly care
  • basic computer skills and experience with documentation
  • very good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • worked with medication delegation.

You are service-oriented and have a professional attitude where you put the individual's needs in focus. You have good cooperation skills and enjoy working together with colleagues in different teams and facilities. Furthermore, you work with empathy and sensitivity in the meeting with each individual, and you are flexible in your workday and easily adapt to changed conditions and needs. We will place great emphasis on your personal abilities, skills, and motivation for the position.
