RESPONSIBILITIES

You are warmly welcome to apply as a summer substitute assistant nurse for the period June 29 – August 16 at Erikslunden Dementia Care Facility, department Bersån!

We are looking for you who want to be involved in providing good care and support to our residents. In the role of assistant nurse with us, you have the opportunity to create the best living environment for our residents based on a person-centered approach. You work with care and professionalism in collaboration with the rest of the work team and in close contact with our residents. This also involves working for good cooperation with other professional groups and relatives.

Main responsibilities include:

• Meeting residents' individual needs for care and support.
• Carrying out delegated healthcare interventions according to the Health and Medical Services Act.
• Documentation and service tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you with education in the Care and Nursing Program or Healthcare Assistant education.

Meritorious qualifications:

• Experience with dementia and elderly care.
• Confidence in documenting and using various systems required for the work.
• Proficiency in Swedish, spoken and written (the work involves contact with residents, relatives, documentation, and reading of information relevant to the work).
• Knowledge and experience in medication management and medication delegation.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

Employment type: Summer job / Vacation employment.
Duration: 11 days – 3 months.
