Do you want to help reduce the environmental impact of shipping? This job might be right for you!
We make society work for people on the move, on rails, in the air, and at sea. Therefore, we need the best competence. Our mission is important and has significance in everyday life – for both private individuals and businesses. Here, we take responsibility, treat everyone well, and respect differences. As an employee, you contribute to a sustainable future.
About the job
Transport is necessary for goods and people to arrive where they need to go. At the Environmental Section, we work to reduce the negative environmental impact caused by transport from shipping and aviation. In this role, you will work together with other competent colleagues at the agency, in dialogue with other authorities, and in contact with relevant parties internationally.
You will primarily work with issues related to ship cargoes, such as dangerous goods in shipping, but the tasks may vary and also include other environmental issues. This could, for example, involve representing Sweden in meetings at the UN's international maritime organization IMO, within HELCOM, or the EU.
Other issues within the section's or department's area of responsibility may also become relevant. The position involves travel, both domestic and international.
You are important here
Do you enjoy working with others and do you want to develop in your professional role? Here, you can expect career development, a trust-based management and employee relationship, and a sustainable working life. We are a secure employer that cares about your health with time for wellness during working hours, flexible working hours, generous vacation days, and extra days off around holidays.
