Job Description

As a primary school teacher (Grades F-3), you will work in a three-teacher system, meaning three teachers are responsible for two classes. You will share responsibility for the grade level together. Your teaching is modern and creative, aiming to reach students and find strategies to strengthen them – both academically and in their personal development. Furthermore, you will engage in continuous development work, actively collaborating with other school staff to establish and maintain a good learning and working environment for both students and employees at our school.

In grades 1–3, we use the phonics model (Vallmo model) and Phonics. We expect you to be well-versed in these methods and have prior experience working with them. Here, you are offered a job where you make a difference – you have the privilege of focusing on a smaller number of students in depth.

Qualifications

You are a certified teacher with eligibility to teach grades F-3 and have eligibility in Swedish as a Second Language. Previous experience teaching music is considered an advantage. We also value if you have worked with or have knowledge of "Simple View of Reading"/Phonics, as this is our approach to early reading instruction in Grades F-3.

You have a good understanding of the school's steering documents and can use them effectively in your daily work. Furthermore, you have strong didactic and pedagogical skills, allowing you to lead and organize your work to create study peace and a good learning environment for our students throughout their school day. Based on evidence-based research, you develop your work and efficiently use relevant digital tools. Naturally, you have a professional attitude and work towards building good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.

We welcome your application!
