About the School

Korsängsskolan is a school covering grades F-9 with just over 860 students. The school is located in central Enköping with a mixed catchment area, comprising parts of the town center and, to some extent, the countryside. The school was inaugurated in 1948 and has been in operation since then; additions and renovations have been made over the years. The school is popular with high application pressure, and most students attend Korsängsskolan for all 10 years of their schooling.

We work to ensure that all students succeed based on their prerequisites. We value good relationships, high adult presence, and a safe learning environment where students can develop both academically and socially.

Job Responsibilities

As a leisure-time teacher at Korsängsskolan, your main tasks include:

• creating safe and inclusive meeting places for students
• planning and implementing activities that promote community, movement, and creativity
• building good relationships with students and guardians
• supporting students' social development and well-being
• collaborating with school staff regarding safety and study environment
• contributing to the school's work on core values.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• has an easy time building good relationships with young people
• is secure, responsible, and proactive
• has the ability to collaborate and work independently
• wants to contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment

You must have a certificate for working in leisure-time centers or a teaching certificate, as well as experience working in a school.
