Your workplace
The psychiatric outpatient care in the county consists of six clinics and is, as far as possible, considered part of primary care. Therefore, we offer care and treatment in the patient's immediate surroundings. This means that your work will be characterized by collaboration with the patient, relatives, and other partners.
The mission of the activity is to assess, investigate, and treat patients with mental illness and mental disabilities. In addition to individual treatment work, team collaboration and cooperation with municipalities and other actors in the care chain are included.
At the psychiatric clinic in Arvika, nurses, doctors, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, care assistants, therapists, and care administrators work together. Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday.
We conduct various types of group therapy in collaboration between different professional categories, something we want to develop further. Here, you will find good conditions for team collaboration in treatment and investigation.

Your responsibilities
Your duties as a nurse consist of varied general psychiatric clinic work, such as assessment, medication dispensing and follow-up, telephone advice, sample collection, follow-up after inpatient care, acute visits, as well as conversation and support contacts.
You follow the patient through care where we strive for cohesive care and treatment with continuity in our patient contacts. Our team consists of several different competencies. As a nurse, you work at a clinic characterized by team spirit, good communication, and high competence. We are in a development phase with, among other things, more structured diagnostics and follow-up, and we need your input!
Your knowledge and skills
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with an interest in psychiatry. Work experience from psychiatric outpatient or inpatient care is meritorious. You can be either a specialist-trained nurse or a basic-trained nurse.
