About the Role

Then this role might be exactly what you are looking for! Our unit supports approximately 370 managers within our administration. As part of our team, you will play a central role in ensuring the administration's economic management and ensuring that sound financial practices are applied. You will also be involved in driving the development of the city's and the administration's economic processes. We are looking for someone who wants to work closely with management, in an advisory capacity, with a focus on coaching and supporting the operations in economic planning, budgeting, follow-up, forecasting, analysis, and financial investigations. You will also have the opportunity to drive and develop tasks within budget and analysis work, follow-ups, investigations, and project work.

About You

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Economics, with at least 180 higher education credits.
• Previous experience in qualified economic work such as budgeting, forecasting, follow-up, and analysis.

Merits:

• Experience in qualified economic work within the public sector.
• Further education in economics, perhaps a Master's degree?
• An aptitude for and quick ability to adapt to new IT systems. We use Unit4 Agresso, Proceedo, Hypergene, as well as the Office package, especially Excel.

Personal Qualities:

We are looking for someone who is analytical and has the ability to see connections and draw logical conclusions based on limited and/or complex information. You are responsible, take your tasks seriously, are keen on completing what you have started, and ensure that the work is done correctly. It is also important that you are team-oriented, understand the common mission, and contribute to the whole. You have the ability to explain information in a pedagogical manner to different recipients and from different perspectives. You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement.
