Your Workplace

We are looking for you who are a registered midwife at 100 percent for a temporary position with work distributed between two clinics. 50 percent at Forshaga Family Centre and 50 percent at Kronoparken Midwife Clinic.

Forshaga Family Centre offers an engaged work group with experienced midwives who run both a midwife clinic and a youth clinic. There is close cooperation between different professions such as Child Health Services (BVC), social services, and open preschool. We collaborate to create a safe place and provide good preventive care to our patients.

Kronoparken Midwife Clinic is characterized by an engaged midwife team and diversity among our patients. Here you meet a broad and varied patient group with people from many different cultures and life situations. The work is varied and meaningful, and you work independently with good support from experienced colleagues and close cooperation with Child Health Services.

As a midwife with us, you will contribute to preventive work within maternal healthcare and youth clinic activities. We offer continuous competence development through professional meetings and training several times a year.

Your Responsibilities

The tasks include planned clinic activities and work at the youth clinic. You work with maternal healthcare, including pregnancy monitoring, counseling, and vaccinations.

You also provide contraceptive counseling, perform gynecological cell sampling, and offer conversations and support within sexual and reproductive health.

The role also includes parental support in group activities and cooperation with other professions.

Your Knowledge and Competencies

You are a registered midwife with prescribing rights. Previous experience from working at a midwife clinic and youth clinic is advantageous.

You have a professional and respectful attitude and thrive when meeting people with different backgrounds and needs. As a person, you are flexible and confident, enjoying both independent work and teamwork. You have the ability to plan and structure your work, as well as an interest in health promotion and preventive work. Personal suitability is of great importance.
