We are looking for a specialist physician in gynecology and obstetrics for our clinic for a permanent position. We are looking for a colleague with a strong commitment to women's health who meets every individual with respect, professionalism, and warmth.

About the position

With us, you become an important part of an engaged team! You work daytime on weekdays with both physical clinic visits and video meetings. You meet women with varying backgrounds and needs, both in individual meetings and sometimes together with their partners.

The work is independent and requires that you take great responsibility for the pregnant women you meet. At the same time, you are an important part of the team and contribute to the clinic's development by sharing your competence and viewing the operations from a holistic perspective.

Today we use the medical record systems Obstetrix and Takecare, where Obstetrix will be replaced by Cosmic Birth in November 2026. For contact with women, we also use the healthcare information system Alltid Öppet for communication via chat and video.

You are involved in both regional and local improvement and development work, with the goal of creating a clinic adapted to the needs of women and families in Norrtälje Municipality.

Your responsibilities include among other things:

• Medical assessments and follow-ups of pregnant women
• Handling of high-risk pregnancies in primary care
• Medical leadership responsibility
• Collaboration with other healthcare providers and maternity wards

About you

For this position, you need:

• To be a licensed physician with specialist competence in gynecology/obstetrics
• Apply good Swedish in speech and writing
• Apply good English in speech

It is meritorious if you also have:

• Previous experience working at a Midwife Clinic.
• Previous experience with MLA (Midwife-led Antenatal care).

About us

Tiohundra operates a Midwife Clinic in Norrtälje and Hallstavik. We are six midwives and one gynecologist. The Midwife Clinic in Norrtälje is located in the Family House on the outskirts of Norrtälje, with easily accessible parking spaces and good communications. In the Family House, in addition to the midwife clinic, there is also Child Health Care (BVC), Open Preschool, Social Services, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP), Counseling Clinic for Children and Young People, and Child Rehabilitation. Here we have combined competence, which promotes collaboration across professional professions and knowledge exchange between operations. Other healthcare neighbors such as youth clinics and gynecology clinics are also within Tiohundra with good collaboration and a short distance from the Family House.
