Brageskolan is Sollentuna Municipality's joint resource school. The school is located in Rotebro, close to commuter trains and green areas. Currently, there are approximately 103 students in grades 1–9 at the school, and our after-school care is divided into two units. All staff members have a significant impact on the students' learning and well-being; therefore, it is important that you, like us, are driven to make a real difference.

Job Description

As a primary school teacher, you will work in a class of 9 students and play a vital role in creating a safe, active, and meaningful environment for our students.

The position is a temporary assignment lasting seven weeks, with the possibility of extension.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have teacher certification and are qualified to teach grades F-3 (Preschool Class to Grade 3). It is meritorious if you have previously taught in special education groups, and we would appreciate it if you have knowledge about students with NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) or speech disorders.

You see opportunities in development and change and are willing to actively contribute to such initiatives yourself. You are a good listener and find it easy to build relationships and collaborate with students, colleagues, and guardians. Personal maturity, the ability to create engagement and participation, and a desire to develop together as a team are qualities we value highly. If you have experience in developing NPF-safe operations and grading, this is considered meritorious.

You view modern technology as a natural choice in your role as an educator and use ICT as a tool for knowledge seeking, communication, creation, and learning. You also follow research and development and integrate this into your teaching.

You must be able to communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. It is important that you have personal maturity, are flexible, collaborate easily, and have a low-affective approach. Experience with or willingness to learn visual supports and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) is desirable.

• Qualified teacher (Teacher certification)
• Experience working within the school system.

Meritorious

• Experience working with students with NPF diagnoses.
