The role of Preschool Assistant with us

As a preschool assistant, you work with care, education, and teaching in accordance with the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum for preschools, Lpfö 18 (revised 2025). You are an important part of the children's daily lives and contribute to creating a safe, stimulating, and developmental learning environment where every child is given the opportunity to grow, explore, and learn.

In this role, you actively participate in the children's play, learning, and care. You support the children in their development, spark curiosity, and create conditions for participation and security. Together with preschool teachers, you plan, implement, and follow up on activities based on the children's needs and interests. The work also includes practical tasks such as meals, rest, and outdoor activities.

The preschool is a traditional facility undergoing reorganization with smaller child groups. This gives you an exciting opportunity to be involved from the start and contribute to the development of the operations and working methods.

Your profile

You are an engaged and responsive preschool assistant who builds secure relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You take responsibility for your work, collaborate well with others, and actively contribute to the development of the operations. You are flexible, see opportunities in changes, and are keen to take initiatives that benefit the children's learning and development. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Personal suitability will be given great importance.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a trained preschool assistant

It is an advantage if you have:

• knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and/or visual supports
• knowledge of digital work with children

Our offer and other information

We offer a fixed-term full-time position until July 9, 2027, starting September 1, 2026, subject to agreement. There is a possibility of extension.
