Do you want to grow with us and contribute to developing our finance function for the future? We are now looking for a qualified accountant with great commitment, analytical skills, and a desire to take overall responsibility. The position is a full-time role based in Skövde.
Responsibilities:
- Ongoing control, reconciliation, and administration of income statements and balance sheets
- Group accounting
- Quarterly and annual closing, including quality reviews
- Annual reports and tax returns
- Regulatory reporting to authorities
- Monitoring developments and ensuring the company complies with current regulations
- Investigative work
- Preparation of statistics and reporting materials
Who are you?
To succeed in this role, you have an academic education in economics, such as a Master of Science in Business and Economics, along with many years of experience in qualified accounting work. Your solid knowledge of current regulations, legislation, and practice enables you to confidently handle everything from routine accounting to annual closing and regulatory reporting. Additionally, experience with Solvency II, IFRS, Excel, and Mercur is a significant plus, as these tools and frameworks are central to our operations.
As a person, you are solution-oriented and possess analytical skills that allow you to quickly identify and understand complex relationships, which is crucial for driving development and efficiency within our financial processes. Being structured and stress-resistant means you can plan, prioritize, and deliver even during periods of high workload, which is a key prerequisite for accounting work with many parallel deadlines.
Furthermore, you have a positive attitude and see opportunities rather than obstacles, contributing to an inspiring work environment for both you and your colleagues. Your ability to work independently means you naturally take overall responsibility for your tasks and always strive for high quality in delivery. At the same time, you collaborate easily, as you value close dialogue and exchange with other functions within the company.
