On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a Project Design Manager specializing in riser replacements. The assignment is full-time and is expected to start on 2026-06-15 and run until 2028-06-14.

About the Assignment

We are seeking an experienced Project Design Manager for a comprehensive riser replacement project with a major public housing company in the Stockholm area.

The assignment involves the preparation of system documentation and tender documents for a general contracting (EPC) project within a larger renovation project. The focus is on ensuring high quality in the design phase and creating a complete and clear basis for the upcoming procurement process.

The workload will vary during the assignment period, requiring a consultant who can adapt their efforts based on the project's needs.

Design meetings are primarily held every other week, either on-site in Stockholm or digitally. In addition, further meetings and surveys may occur. The consultant must be able to conduct site visits with short notice when necessary.

Work between meetings can be performed from any location.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the design work through the various phases of the project
• Prepare system documentation and tender documents for general contracting
• Ensure that technical solutions meet the project's requirements and goals
• Coordinate disciplines within:
  • Electrical
  • Telecommunications
  • Data/IT
• Participate in and lead design meetings
• Conduct surveys and site visits as needed
• Collaborate closely with the project organization to ensure deliveries according to schedule

Start: 2026-06-15 | End: 2028-06-14 | Scope: 100% (40 hours/week) | Location: Stockholm

About You

We are looking for you who meet the following mandatory requirements:

• At least three completed riser replacement projects within the last three years
• Projects with a contract value of at least 250,000 SEK
• Projects comprising at least 50 apartments
• At least one project carried out within Million Programme housing
• At least one project comprising 150 apartments or more

The following requirements are considered meritorious:

• Valid education/certification for BAS-P
• Valid education/certification for BAS-U

Desired Personal Qualities:

We are looking for someone who is structured, responsible, and solution-oriented, with a good ability to drive the design work forward. You are communicative and team-oriented, thrive in the role of coordinator between different disciplines, and have an easy time building trusting relationships with both the client and the project team. Furthermore, you are flexible and unpretentious, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances while ensuring high quality in deliveries.
