About the School

Enöglaskolan is a multicultural school covering grades F-9 (preschool class to grade 9) with approximately 550 students.

In 2027, we will move into the newly built Lillsidanskolan, a modern and purpose-built school that will give us even better opportunities to meet the students' needs and create stimulating learning environments.

The school is led by the principal and two deputy principals, together with work team leaders from four work teams: F-3, 4-6, 7-9, and the leisure center. The school also has a comprehensive student health team with various functions working closely with the work teams.

Working with us means becoming part of a school with high ambitions and a clear focus on quality and goal achievement. At our school, school development and current research are part of the daily conversation.

Responsibilities

As a teacher of German and preferably in combination with English, you will teach students in grades 7-9. You plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching in accordance with the curriculum and other regulatory documents, with a clear anchoring in chapters 1 and 2 of the curriculum. The teaching is designed to be differentiated, accessible, and inclusive, based on the students' different prerequisites and needs.

You are part of a work team and collaborate closely with your colleagues regarding the planning, implementation, assessment, and follow-up of teaching. Joint assessment is an important part of collegial learning and contributes to equity and high quality in teaching. At Enöglaskolan, all subjects work in a language-developing manner, which also characterizes the teaching in physical education and health.

The assignment includes assessing and documenting students' knowledge development in InfoMentor, as well as having a close and professional collaboration with guardians and, if necessary, other relevant actors, always with the student's development and well-being in focus.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher with qualifications in German and preferably in combination with English for grades 7-9.

You have a clear focus on the goals in the regulatory documents, and your work is based on the analysis of teaching and results. You use assessment and follow-up as tools to develop teaching and strengthen each student's learning.

You have good didactic competence and a deep understanding of how students learn in different ways. You plan and conduct teaching that is differentiated, accessible, and inclusive, and continuously ask yourself how your choices in teaching benefit the student's development, security, and goal achievement.

You thrive in close collegial collaboration and see joint assessment as a natural part of the work to create equity and quality.

You have a resilient and solution-focused attitude, complete assignments, and work purposefully even when the path there requires testing, adaptation, and new thinking. You are not afraid to challenge traditional ways of working and see development work as an ongoing process where learning occurs along the way.

You have a good ability to build trusting relationships with students and guardians and value a close and professional collaboration regarding the student's development and well-being.

Personal qualities will be given great weight.
