We are looking for an engaged primary school teacher for a fixed-term position in grades 4–6.

This is a role for you who wants to be a homeroom teacher and have overall responsibility for the students' learning, relationships, and development in everyday life.

Your responsibilities

As a homeroom teacher in grades 4–6, you are responsible for teaching in most subjects, except for physical education, music, crafts, and home economics. You plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching based on the curriculum and create a learning environment that gives students good opportunities to succeed.

You will become an important part of a work team where collaboration, structure, and shared responsibility are central.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who:

• is a certified primary school teacher with qualifications for grades 4–6
• has a good ability to lead teaching and create a calm learning environment
• works in a structured and clear manner with student learning in focus
• builds good relationships with students and creates security in the classroom
• collaborates well with colleagues and contributes to the whole in the work team

Experience teaching in intermediate school is an advantage, but the right attitude and relational competence are equally important.
