In the role of Project Manager for Pipe Networks, you lead community development projects within the water and wastewater pipe network of varying sizes and scopes. This ranges from the expansion of major transmission lines, renewal of existing pipe networks, new installations, expansion areas, and extension of stormwater systems with different technical focuses and execution methods. At LBVA, we make it possible for our municipalities to grow!

You will lead projects from ordering to the handover of the finished facility to the operations organization, working according to the company's established project model in our project management system. As Project Manager for Pipe Networks, you work with the owner municipalities, colleagues with specialist functions, consultants, authorities, and contractors. You are responsible for project information to the public and other stakeholders. Here you are offered an exciting position where, in larger projects, you are responsible for, coordinate, and drive the project group through all stages of the project – both independently and in a group.

Your Responsibilities

As Project Manager for Pipe Networks, you are responsible for, among other things:

• Direct, plan, lead, and optimize your assigned projects.
• Have overall responsibility for monitoring project schedules, economy, resource allocation, progress, and project results.
• Prepare scope descriptions, decision support documents, and technical request for proposal documents.
• Participate in monitoring and forecasting your projects.
• Collaborate with other project stakeholders, both internally and externally.
• Work with external consultants in some of your assigned assignments.
• Participate in the procurement process for some of your assigned assignments.
• Play the important role as the project's main driving force in implementation and drive the work according to established plans.
• Drive other common tasks in the project manager role.

The position is located within the Investigation and Projects department, in the group that primarily works with pipe networks. Here you will be part of a competent and tight-knit team consisting of investigation engineers, designers, water and wastewater engineers, project managers, and construction managers.

Your Qualifications

To succeed in the role of Project Manager for Pipe Networks, we are looking for you who want to be part of a larger context focused on preparing for the future water and wastewater infrastructure in Halmstad and Laholm. To succeed, we see that you have:

• A university degree in civil engineering (BSc or MSc) in road and water construction, community planning, or equivalent competence assessed by the employer as equivalent.
• Several years of experience from having been responsible for and driven facility projects.
• Relevant work experience from the community construction industry or other experience from project management of infrastructure projects.
• Experience of working in project-oriented operations.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Merits:

• Have worked in a municipal water and wastewater organization with project management within the construction of various types of projects within pipe networks.
• Have experience from working with pipe networks within water and wastewater – this can be within construction, investigation, design, or surveying/layout within pipe networks.
• Have good knowledge of contract law and experience working with industry standards such as AMA, AB, ABT, and ABK, as well as experience working with technical frameworks.

We also see that you are a structured, humble, and driven team player with the ability to work both independently and in a group. The work places high demands on your communication skills, as much of the work occurs in contact with the company's specialist functions, developers, consultants, citizens, politicians, and other municipal operations.
